Spring Break - Day 7

We started the morning with snowy, icy windows!  We went to the DMV first for Sierra to change her name on her license, then to the college where a former professor had invited her to speak about her student teaching experience, and then we headed to Lava to meet Lindsay's family.  It was such a fun afternoon together.  When we got home, we finished our game of Yahtzee.

Syd's apartment had this on the door when she got home today.  Oh, college sheningans!

 

Spring Break - Day 5

Today I got to go see my girl in action!  She is definitely in the right place!  She is going to be a fantastic teacher.  All of the kids' math review problems had the answer "67".  The kids thought it was hilarious!

This little girl is just the cutest.  Her adorable little voice is the sweetest!  She loves to play babies and kitchen.  So fun!

Tonight we went to the movies.  It was quite the adventure with only the sound working for awhile.  They did give us free popcorn and soda while they fixed it.  We watched Reminders of Him.  We enjoyed the movie when it actually started.

Last teaching day and babysitting

 She's almost done!  She's thriving!

Cleaning

 JR found out today he got accepted to the grad program!

Multicultural Night

 

Tonight Syd got to go watch the Multicultural Night to see a few of her friends perform.  She really enjoyed the night!

Financial Aid Night

 One of the biggest nights of the year for Financial Aid was tonight.  It wasn't as well as attended as they hoped, but it was a successful night!

Valentine's Day

 Sierra's school has a 4-day school week so they celebrated Valentine's Day today.  It even snowed overnight.

Family time

Seemans were able to go to the temple and a hike together today.  The exciting news of the day is JR got an interview to get into his grad program! 🤞

 

Student Teaching!

 Sierra is now teaching full-time for the 2nd grade class.  She is loving it!   (PS - Can you believe this is the weather in FEBRUARY in IDAHO?!?!?)

Making time for the gym has been great, too!

Parent Teacher Conferences

 Sierra got to participate in parent teacher conferences the past two days.  What an awesome opportunity to see how those go.  It made for some late nights, but it was a great experience.

 This week Lauren got to sub for her class she student taught in.  Perfect place for her to start subbing.
